This article summarises the changes and new features made to Cloudhouse Alchemy throughout January 2023.

AppAcceleratorV 

4.6.2301.27463 (released 10th January 2023)

New Features

New Features

  • Ability to redirect MAC Addresses added to the NetworkRedirection Compatibility Feature
  • Ability to configure PackageIsolation redirection for registry paths with regex.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where redirections using Short Paths did not work if Configuration Rules were specified using relative paths.

Auto Packager

4.6.2301.24540 (released 13th January 2023)

New Features

  • Updated AAV version to 4.6.2301.27463
  • Updated Container Runtimes to 4.6.2211.3033
  • Updated AAV Compatibility Features list.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue that allowed file paths to contain folder names such as %AppData%. These would be expanded if they were at the start of the path, but are left as is in the middle of a path.

Packages

4.6.2301.3056 (released 23rd January 2023)

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue with the deployment script not being run at the correct points.
  • Resolved an issue with shared deployments failing when using a Usage Token.
  • Resolved an issue when removing old tokens using --unlock and --lock switches.

Advisory 1

Alchemy's Compatibility Package Editor should only be used to update applications, files, and registry redirections on the same architecture on which the original Compatibility Package was created. For example, if the Compatibility Package was created on an x86 machine, then the Compatibility Package Editor must be run on an x86 machine to update the Compatibility Package.
