This article summarises the changes and new features made to Cloudhouse Alchemy released throughout June 2022.

AppAcceleratorV

AppAcceleratorV 4.6.2206.27062 (released 6th June 2022)

  • Improvements made to the configuration and logging for the COMVirtualization Compatibility Feature.
  • Improved logging error for the ProcessFilter Compatibility Feature.
  • New variables added for the Package's folder and its Parent Folder.

Auto Packager

New Features

  • Updated Package Runtime Components to v4.6.2206.2907
  • Version of Newtonsoft.Jason updated to 13.0.1

4.6.2206.27799 (released 17th June 2022)

  • Updated Package Runtime Components to v4.6.2206.2855
  • Updated AAV to version 4.6.2206.27062.

Compatibility Packages

New Features

  • The system root and system drive are now supported as variables.

Fixes

4.6.2206.2907 (released 24th June 2022)

  • Resolved an issue with Compatibility Packages failing to run and crashing as it failed to acquire the package mutex.
  • Resolved an issue with the improper handling of Exceptional Conditions in Newtonsoft.Json

RP Studio

Advisory 1

Alchemy's Compatibility Package Editor should only be used to update applications, files, and registry redirections on the same architecture on which the original Compatibility Package was created. For example, if the Compatibility Package was created on an x86 machine, then the Compatibility Package Editor must be run on an x86 machine to update the Compatibility Package.
