Why are no logs generated for an Alchemy Compatibility Package despite AVV logging being enabled?

Resolution

To resolve this issue, make sure you follow the process in the Enabling Logging in Alchemy Releases Pre-1904 section of Enabling Alchemy Compatibility Package Logging.

Symptoms

I have created a new Cloudhouse Alchemy Compatibility Package using release 1903. I have enabled AAV logging, but no logs are produced. I do not see any errors or warnings. 

I have checked in AppAcceleratorV.clc that the AAV tag is present and I have the values for LogExe and LogDll set to Full, but no logs are produced.

Cause

As detailed in Enabling Alchemy Compatibility Package Logging, enabling and configuring logging for Compatibility Packages created in 1903 and later has changed.

Configuring AAV logging for a 1903 (or later) Compatibility Package using the above process results in no logs being generated. No errors or warnings are displayed to highlight the incorrect configuration as these tags are ignored.
