Sometimes a Guardian Engineer may ask you to view your browser's console to help debug an error message. This article chronicles how to access your browser console for a range of common Web Browsers.

Please locate your browser below for instructions on how to access the Web Console. If you don't see your browser below, or the steps for a browser version are not matching yours, please contact Guardian Support.
Microsoft Edge
Navigate to "..." and then Developer Tools.

Tested with Edge v20.
Google Chrome
Navigate to "..." > More tools > Developer Tools and then locate the Console tab.

Firefox
Navigate via the menu to Web Developer
then click Web Console.
