Version 2106 of Cloudhouse Alchemy Compatibility Packages is available and contains the changes and new features summarised below.

AppAcceleratorV

New Features

AppAcceleratorV 4.6.2106.27624 (released 4th June 2021)

  • Improved NarrowDEP functionality.
  • ForceATLThunkEmulation Feature propagated to all child processes.
  • ForceProcessCreationFlags supports matching application names from command-line arguments.

Auto Packager

New Features

Auto Packager 4.6.2106.26818 (released 10th June 2021)

  • Merged Editor and Packager functionality into a single executable.
  • Updated content for consistency.

Fixes

Auto Packager 4.6.2106.26818 (released 10th June 2021)

  • Fixed issue where locked files could not be added to capture.
  • Fixed Stub generation to include dependent log4net assembly.

Packages

New Features

4.6.2106.3042 (released 30th June 2021)

  • COM+ components can now be deployed.

Fixes

  • Fixes for deprecation of TLS 1.1 on third-party hosted services.

Note

Microsoft .NET 4.5.2 is still required to use Usage Reporting functionality. Licensing services continue to work as before.

  • Fixed issue caused by read-only properties set on package component during deployment.

Advisories

Advisory 1

The Package Editor should only be used to update applications, file, and registry redirections on the same architecture the original Container was created on. For example, if the Container was created on an x86 machine, then the Container Editor must be run on an x86 machine to update the Container.
