This article summarises the changes and new features made to Cloudhouse Alchemy released throughout May 2022.

Compatibility Packages

New Features

4.6.2204.3407 (released 4th May 2022)

  • Added short aliases for all deployment command-line options.

4.6.2205.2833 (released 17th May 2022)

  • Reduction to the amount of time taken to deploy a Compatibility Package.

Fixes

4.6.2205.2833 (released 17th May 2022)

  • Resolved an issue with shortcuts being installed twice when a Compatibility Package is deployed.

RP Studio

New Features

1.0.2204.2104 (released 10th May 2022)

  • Reverse Packaging Report now includes an Analysis Summary section.
  • The Reverse Packaging Report is now overwritten to reflect any manual changes made to the project.
  • A PackageManifest file is now created on save.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where if a project was recreated without first closing RPStudio, some selection information was retained.

Advisories

Advisory 1

Alchemy's Compatibility Package Editor should only be used to update applications, files, and registry redirections on the same architecture on which the original Compatibility Package was created. For example, if the Compatibility Package was created on an x86 machine, then the Compatibility Package Editor must be run on an x86 machine to update the Compatibility Package.
