This article summarises the changes and new features made to Cloudhouse Alchemy released throughout January 2022.

Usage Reporting Module

New Features

1.0.2201.1462 (released 19th January 2022)

  • Updates the data to ensure all user-facing functions have useful and complete help data when calling a function with the `-?` flag or when calling `get-help <function name>`.
  • When errors are encountered using the module, the user now sees a concise error message without the stack trace and other unnecessary information for the user.

Advisories

Advisory 1

Alchemy's Compatibility Package Editor should only be used to update applications, files, and registry redirections on the same architecture on which the original Compatibility Package was created. For example, if the Compatibility Package was created on an x86 machine, then the Compatibility Package Editor must be run on an x86 machine to update the Compatibility Package.
