Version 2108 of Cloudhouse Alchemy Compatibility Packages is available and contains the changes and new features summarised below.

AppAcceleratorV

AppAcceleratorV 4.6.2107.27842 (released 3rd August 2021)

  • Added DetachOnActiveDebug Feature to allow applications like Visual Studio to launch child processes suspended and attach to them.
  • Added specific Feature for customer application bug around heap allocation.

AppAcceleratorV 4.6.2107.27874 (released 20th August 2021)

  • Improved registry handling of WOW nodes.

Fixes

AppAcceleratorV 4.6.2108.27901 (released 31st August 2021)

  • Under certain conditions, AAV would fail to exit after child applications exited.

Auto Packager

New Features

Auto Packager 4.6.2108.27015 (released 31st August 2021)

  • Default AAV Features list updated.
  • Removed dependency on Microsoft Update KB2468871.

  • Added --lock command to license a Package and prevent tampering.

  • Stopped incorrect validation of COM configuration even if it was disabled.

Advisories

Advisory 1

The Package Editor should only be used to update applications, file, and registry redirections on the same architecture the original Container was created on. For example, if the Container was created on an x86 machine, then the Container Editor must be run on an x86 machine to update the Container.
